The Academy’s Equine Bit Fitting course was established to meet a growing call for an understanding of how to fit bits to horses. Always keen to share our knowledge and improve horse welfare, we responded by creating formal training for those who are passionate about improving the health, welfare and performance of their equine clients.

By undertaking this course, you can expect to undergo rigorous training that is focused on the intrinsic mechanical operation of the bit and how the horse is affected by the bit and bridle.

This professional level course includes a preparatory online module followed by a residential course comprising lectures and practical instruction.
